GI Composite Fire Kross doors comply with BS 476-1987 and IS:3614-1992 certified by CBRI for 2 hrs Fire Resistance Test. PRODUCT SELECTION (LITE, STANDARD, MEDIUM, HEAVY DUTY)
It is recommended to use the well-defined specification based on the following criteria to select a right door for the right application. All Hollow Metal Doors are classified based on usage and application. It is important to select the right material specification so that doors are long lasting and durable. Broadly classified into four levels:
Level 1 – Lite
Kross Doors bring you a robust alternative for ultra-low frequency openings such as Shafts, Utilities access, Concealments etc for modern buildings, underground stations, airports, and metro stations. These light gauge sandwich panels or single skin doors with or without louvers or vision panels provide an economic choice without compromising safety. A variety of colours and finish available.
Level 2 - Standard
Used for low frequency openings such as apartments, dormitory, hotel and motel units, Care is taken by the user and mostly it is not subject to any kind of abuse. The choice is available for fire rated or non-fire rated applications in RAL or premium wooden finish.
Level 3 – Medium
Used for medium frequency opening such as main Entrance to apartment, dormitory buildings Stairwells, storage, and mechanical rooms. Some care is taken in the maintenance of such doors.
Level 4 – Heavy Duty
Used for high frequency openings such as the main entrances to schools, offices, industrial buildings, stairwells, public restrooms, and manufacturing areas. Little care or no care is taken in the functioning of doors. Auto opening and closing features available.
